Integrates with Xero

Farm financial actuals,
made comparable

AgriActuals connects securely to Xero and translates accounting transactions into a consistent agricultural reporting code set—without changing the original Xero file.

Local Context

Built for Western Australian agriculture

Agricultural businesses need reporting that reflects how farms operate—not just how accounts are structured.

AgriActuals helps Western Australian farm businesses and farm management advisers turn day-to-day Xero transaction data into practical management information. It creates a separate, standardised reporting layer so financial data can be reviewed consistently across businesses, periods and advisers while preserving the original accounting records in Xero.

From accounting data to management insight

AgriActuals extracts approved Xero transaction data and applies a configurable mapping to a standard agricultural code set. Your Xero chart of accounts, transaction history and coding remain unchanged.

  • +Import financial transactions from connected Xero organisations
  • +Recode transactions to a standard management reporting structure
  • +Retain the original Xero account, transaction and source details
  • +Review coding decisions, exceptions and unmapped items

Preserve the source. Improve the analysis.

Xero remains the system of record. AgriActuals is the reporting and normalisation layer.

01. Xero Ledger

Original chart of accounts, bank feeds, and tax records. Left fully intact.

02. Mapping Engine

Secure OAuth read-only interface matches codes based on WA agricultural sets.

03. Normalized Output

Comparable actuals prepared for farm benchmarking, advisory, and seasons review.

That means your accountant, bookkeeper and farm adviser can work from the same underlying financial information, while each business keeps its own existing Xero chart of accounts and accounting processes.

A clearer view for better decisions

Use AgriActuals to help answer practical farm-management questions:

[Q]What did each enterprise actually cost this season?
[Q]How do current costs compare with prior years?
[Q]Are overheads, machinery, labour and input costs being classified consistently?
[Q]Where are coding gaps reducing confidence in management reports?
[Q]How can an adviser compare businesses without asking every client to rebuild their Xero chart of accounts?

Designed for farm businesses and advisers

Providing agricultural reporting context without rewriting ledger codes.

For farm businesses

See financial actuals in a structure that better supports operational planning, budgeting and performance review.

For farm advisers

Create a consistent basis for reviewing client data, identifying exceptions and preparing more comparable reports.

For accounting teams

Maintain the integrity of the client's Xero file. AgriActuals adds reporting context without rewriting original transaction coding.

How it works

Connect, classify, review, report

01

Connect securely to Xero

An authorised user connects one or more Xero organisations using Xero's OAuth 2.0 authorisation process. AgriActuals requests only the permissions needed to provide the service; users approve access through Xero and can manage connected organisations through their Xero account.

OAuth 2.0 Security: Enables an application to access authorised Xero data without receiving or storing the user's Xero password.

02

Extract transaction data

AgriActuals retrieves relevant financial transaction data from the connected Xero organisation and retains a clear link to its original source.

03

Apply a standard agricultural code set

Transactions are mapped from the client's existing Xero accounts and coding into a consistent management code set designed for agricultural reporting.

04

Review exceptions and refine mappings

Users and advisers can review unmapped, ambiguous or exceptional items, then apply mapping rules with an auditable record of the decision.

05

Produce consistent actuals

Use the standardised data for farm management reporting, year-on-year review, enterprise analysis and adviser-led discussions.
